YOUR PODIATRIST

Dan Harris BSc (Hons) Podiatry,  MRCPod

Dan qualified from the University of Brighton in 2004. Since then he has worked full time in the NHS, initially in London and more recently Cambridge. Whilst in the NHS he treated a full range of patients but the main focus of the treatments was to high risk patients, often with Diabetes and the concurrent foot related problems. He also spent time working in a specialist Diabetic Foot clinic, and therefore maintains an interest in Diabetes and how it affects the foot, and of course the treatment of these problems.

In 2005 Dan moved to Newmarket and began working for Cambridgeshire PCT. He continued his work with high risk patients and also broadened his experience in the fields of nail surgery and biomechanics, but also began building up a caseload in the private sector. In 2009 he moved completely to the private sector and now divides his time between working at the private podiatry clinic based at his home in Newmarket, and attending to home visits for clients who are housebound.

Dan is Registered with the Health Professions Council and as such is committed to life-long learning through Continuous Professional Development. He was recently selected for Audit and was successful after submission of his CPD portfolio.
